The LLCC Writing Center and Student Life are now accepting submissions for the Paul Simon Essay Contest. Students must submit an essay of 500 words or less on the topic of “How My Community College Changed My Life.” Local winners will receive prizes from the LLCC Foundation and the bookstore, and the first place winner will be forwarded to the statewide competition, which is sponsored by the Illinois Community College Trustees Association. The deadline for essay submissions is March 16 at 3 p.m. See contest flier for more information.
