LLCC Student Life and TRIO present the Soup & Stories program, “They Call Me Q,” written and performed by Qurrat Ann Kadwani. The program will be held today from 1-3 p.m. in the R.H. Stephens room.
“They Call Me Q” is a story of a girl from Bombay growing up in the Boogie Down Bronx who gracefully seeks balance between cultural pressures brought forth by her traditional parents and wanting acceptance into her new culture.
Join us for this amazing presentation that speaks to the universal search for identity experienced by immigrants of all nationalities.
The program is open to the LLCC community, but geared toward the development of students. If faculty and staff are interested in attending there is just a $3 charge for the lunch.
