The Student Life Office would like to send out a huge thank you to all the faculty, staff and volunteers who helped with the New Student Welcome Lunch and Welcome Week Activities. We had a great turn-out and we’ve already gotten some excellent feedback from our students!

The NSWL started out in the A. Lincoln Commons with information tables from various departments and clubs or organizations. Following the informational portion, two breakout sessions provided students with Bystander Intervention training and a variety of other topics. Nelson’s Catering served a delectable lunch menu in Cass Gym that was enjoyed by students, faculty and staff!

The Welcome Week Activities went off without a hitch! The weather cooperated beautifully on Tuesday, Aug. 23, for the outdoor Loggerpalooza event that featured the musical acoustics of artist, Scott Porter; a Human Foosball Inflatable; vendor tables, and a Pretzel Bar provided by Chase Foods.
