Visit the Writing Center this week for special activities

This is the week! Visit the LLCC Writing Center between Oct. 25-29 to help celebrate the National Day on Writing.

  • Browse the shelf of free books (various genres).
  • Help yourself to some Halloween candy.
  • Participate in an abridged storytelling contest. Share your short tale (10 words or fewer) on a display board in the Center and vote on your favorite(s). Contributors’ stories will also be shared on the Writing Center Facebook page for a chance to receive more likes. All authors will receive a Writing Center bag of goodies, and the author with the most “likes” will get a Starbucks gift certificate.
