The LLCC Writing Center is here to help! Please remind students that they are welcome to schedule an appointment (either in person or on MS Teams) to discuss prewriting, drafts, revisions — any writing — related activity for any of their classes. Today is the National Day on Writing
Join the LLCC Writing Center this week in recognizing the National Day on Writing, Oct. 20. You are welcome to “write for self” by contributing a poem, short narrative, word cloud, song lyrics or free writing that shares something about who YOU are — your personality, passions, academic and career pursuits, etc. All students who participate will be entered into a drawing at week’s end for a $40 gas card.
Drop by the Writing Center and post your contribution on a project board or email it to writingcenter@llcc.edu. And be sure to visit to sample “write” food in recognition of authors’ favorite snacks and sweets and/or use art supplies to design a poster that expresses self.
