Sign up for the LEAGUE campaign by end of day today and be eligible to win $150 in cash!  Gifts of all size are important and appreciated.  And should you choose payroll deduction, you’ll get your name in the hat for a second $150 at the end of the campaign.  How easy is that?!

As a donor to the LEAGUE campaign, you direct your gift as you choose…to scholarships, grants, and other funds, all of which directly impacts our students.  So on their behalf, thank you…and don’t forget to join the LEAGUE!

The fun isn’t over!  Stop by the LLCC Foundation through Monday, April 1 and buy a raffle ticket for the Kindle Fire HD or 50/50.  Don’t forget to cast your votes in the Penny Wars!  All 13 of the decorated containers are there for you to support or sabotage, with the proceeds supporting the Pay It Forward Fund for emergency student needs.  Congratulations to PRM for winning the best decorated Penny Wars container!

The Foundation has decorated its Penny Wars container using the theme “Gnome Together”.  All departments are invited to participate in this fun, friendly competition to benefit LLCC Foundation’s Pay It Forward Fund.  All you have to do is get a container from the Foundation office and start collecting pennies. Decorate your container if you wish and bring it the LEAGUE Luncheon on Tuesday, March 25 in the Student Union where additional pennies can be added or your opponents can sabotage your efforts by adding coins and paper currency your container.  Don’t miss all the fun! Get in on the action!

LLCC’s L.E.A.G.U.E. Committee invites you to get a team together to participate in Penny Wars!  Penny Wars is a fun competition to see who can collect the most pennies and raise funds for the LLCC Foundation Pay It Forward Fund.  To participate, contact Barb Eades at Barbara.Eades@llcc.edu or at extension 6-2255 now through March 24 to receive a container. Containers can be decorated to add to the fun.  Then, start collecting pennies in your department or area.  You can sabotage your opponents by placing silver coins or paper money in their containers.  Bring your containers to the L.E.A.G.U.E. luncheon on Tuesday, March 25 by 11:30 am in the Student Union to collect more money.  All money collected will go to the LLCC Foundation’s Pay It Forward Fund, which helps students who need emergency assistance.
