6th Graders from Rochester visit campus
Public Relations and Marketing hosted nearly 200 6th graders from Rochester Intermediate School Oct. 16 for a presentation on academic programs in Cass Gym and tour of the Workforce Careers Center. The students enjoyed honking the horn of a semi, eating popcorn from a machine run by solar power, drinking slushies in the HVAC lab, posing for photos in the Auto Lab’s Jaguar, and other activities. PRM would like to thank these LLCC faculty/staff for assisting with the event: Nancy Sweet, John Mitchell, Bob Howard, Curt Robinson, Dick Rogers, Damon Tanke, “Red” Tomnitz, Jim Betts, Bob Andrew, Keven Tait, Julie Rourke, Dan Sheedy, Tom Spears, Bill Harmon, Tammy Schnell, Scott Ebbing, Jennifer Ramm, Tony Rothering, Barb Bernardi, Randy Rue, Jane Hartman and our wonderful tour guides, Tim Humphrey, Jay Kitterman, Tammy Chrisler, along with Teresa Dickey-Rogers, Julie McKinney and Ron Riggle.
Thank you! Terri Hinrichs, recruitment coordinator

Thanks from PRM
The PRM staff would like to extend its sincere appreciation to all faculty and staff who participated in or helped with the Campus Visit Day event held Monday. More than 300 guests attended the day and evening sessions. The morning session evaluation data is in, and of those students that returned evaluations, 40% said they are definitely coming to LLCC and 45% are currently visiting colleges; 69% rated the event excellent and 31% rated it good. The majority of the students that attended plan to begin college in fall or spring 2014, with several students stating an anticipated start date as 2015, 2016 or 2017.
The next Campus Visit Day is being held Monday, Feb. 17, 2014 (Presidents Day).

Update to LLCC Business Cards
The LLCC business cards have a new look! The back has been redesigned and will soon begin appearing on cards that have been ordered. Faculty and staff are encouraged to use the remainder of their current cards, but we wanted to give you a sneak peak of what future cards will look like. The information on the front will remain the same.
If you need to order new business cards, remember to fill out a request on the PRM Portal.
