More than 300 prospective students and family members are registered to attend Campus Visit Day on Monday. Two sessions are being held, morning and evening. Students will hear a presentation about the enrollment process, take campus tours, research careers and visit exhibits to talk to various faculty and staff about programs and services.

LLCC’s Annual Report 2014-15, “Our Story,” is now online, featuring photos and articles about some of the major accomplishments of the past year. A limited number of print versions are available in the Public Relations and Marketing office. Anyone mentioned or photographed in the publication was sent a print copy.

LLCC’s Workforce Careers Center will be a “WQLZ Ticket Stop” Monday, Aug. 17, from 4-6 p.m. for the upcoming Godsmack/Sevendust rock concert in Springfield. WQLZ will broadcast live and provide giveaways, and anyone who comes will be eligible to win tickets to the Sept. 27 concert at the Prairie Capital Convention Center. (Sorry, LLCC employees are not eligible to win the tickets, but you are welcome to stop by!)

Also from 4-6 p.m., there will be an Open House, with tours of the Workforce Careers Center and faculty/staff on hand to answer questions about enrolling in the programs.

If you know of anyone who might be interested in programs in the Workforce Careers Center, please encourage them to attend the Open House!

In the interest of building familiarity and community among employees, we would like to add as many employee photos to the Lync/Exchange email system as possible. PRM is in the process of updating individual photos in our files to the correct size for the system.

If you would like your photo taken for the email system, you may call or drop in the PRM office between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. If you prefer, you may send a professional-looking head and shoulders photo of yourself to addmyphoto@llcc.edu and PRM will resize and upload it. You may also email addmyphoto@llcc.edu to inquire if PRM has a current photo of you.
