Campus Visit Day thank you

Today is Campus Visit Day!

Exhibits open at 9:30 a.m. Please feel free to talk to any visitors you encounter about the advantages of enrolling at LLCC, and let them know we’re ready to help them experience college success!

Assist students at Welcome Week table

LLCC Public Relations and Marketing would appreciate your assistance during summer Welcome Week! PRM is looking for volunteers to assist at the welcome table in A. Lincoln Commons June 6-9 during the first week of summer classes.

Help students get a great start to the semester by greeting them, answering their questions, providing directions and encouraging them to stop by the Welcome Week events hosted by LLCC Student Life! An FAQ reference sheet will be on the table along with highlighters to help in marking students’ routes to their classes.

Kyla Kruse selected for NCMPR Leadership Institute

Kyla Kruse, director of communication, has been selected for the Leadership Institute of the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR). The Leadership Institute is a 10-month program focused on developing leadership skills for communication professionals to advance and succeed as key members of community college leadership teams. Participants will gather June 9-10 in Orlando, Fla. and then meet remotely each month prior to a final meeting and presentations at the NCMPR national conference in March 2023.

Updated college letterhead available

Updated versions of the college letterhead are available. The LLCC Printshop has hard copies of the main letterhead available for pickup. Updated digital MS Word versions of letterhead are available on the LLCC Employee Portal  > PRM Sharepoint page > LLCC Letterhead. To use, please download to desktop and then open in Word, or right–click on the more options icon (the three dots to the right of the file name) and open with Word.

Decision Day at Southeast High School

The last of three Decision Day events for District 186 high schools was held at Southeast High School this past Friday. Kim Wilson, recruitment specialist, and Jeff Martin, workforce recruitment and placement coordinator, cheered on seniors who have decided to take their next step in education at LLCC. Congrats, Southeast students! We look forward to you achieving college success at LLCC!
