Today is Campus Visit Day!

Future students talking with LLCC staff at exhibitsPlease help us welcome prospective students and their families today for Campus Visit Day! The event is being held at the LLCC campus in Springfield and at Outreach Centers in Jacksonville, Litchfield and Taylorville.

Two sessions, 10 a.m.-noon and 5-7 p.m., are scheduled at the LLCC-Springfield campus. Exhibits open at 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Visits at Outreach Centers in Jacksonville, Taylorville and Litchfield are being arranged by appointment.

Please feel free to talk to any visitors you encounter about the advantages of enrolling at LLCC, and let them know we’re ready to help them experience college success!

The KUDOS awards are an informal way to recognize the special contributions — small and large — made by faculty and staff that create the positive environment that is LLCC. Brighten someone’s day. Say, “Thank you! Great job!” by nominating that person for a KUDOS award!

Photo shoot today

LLCC Public Relations and Marketing will be conducting a photo shoot on campus today, Jan. 31. The photos will be used on the website, social media, ads and publications. We have a schedule to visit various classrooms and activities but will also be taking some candid photos along the way.

Thank you to Welcome Week volunteers!

Sign up to help out at the Welcome Week table

LLCC Public Relations and Marketing would appreciate your assistance during spring Welcome Week! PRM is looking for volunteers to assist at the welcome table in A. Lincoln Commons next week, Jan. 9-12, during the first week of spring classes.

Help students get a great start to the semester by greeting them, answering their questions, providing directions and encouraging them to stop by the Welcome Week events hosted by LLCC Student Life! An FAQ reference sheet will be on the table along with highlighters to help in marking students’ routes to their classes.
