The city-wide exhibit at the Springfield Art Association (Nov. 3-20) will showcase first place award-winning artwork from all participating businesses, agencies and institutions. At the previous OMOT in 2019, three LLCC employees had four pieces of art move on to the city-wide exhibit!

Congratulations to several LLCC artists honored with awards Wednesday evening at the city-wide On My Own Time (OMOT) art exhibit. This year, 120 OMOT artists submitted 241 entries at 11 in-house exhibits in the Springfield area. LLCC employees were awarded four ribbons at the city-wide exhibit, which is on display through Saturday, Nov. 23 at the Springfield Art Association, 700 N. 4th St. LLCC winners are:

Michelle Burger’s ”Primpin Ain’t Easy,” Chris McDonald’s ”The Local,”  and Greg Walbert’s ”Lincoln” and “Giraffe” were awarded first place at the LLCC On My Own Time exhibit and have moved on to the OMOT city-wide exhibit. The OMOT city-wide exhibit will be at the Springfield Art Association (SAA), 700 North Fourth St., Nov. 5-23. The city-wide awards, as well as the city-wide best of show award will be announced at a reception at the SAA on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 5:30-7:30 p.m., with the award presentation beginning at 6:15 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
