LLCC was on the news at 5, 6 and 10 yesterday. WAND-17 ran a story about our police training and preparations in the event of a campus shooting. Police Chief Brad Gentry was interviewed. WCIA-3 had a story on the increase in truck driver training jobs posted online, featuring interviews with Bob Howard, truck driver training director, and student Darin Brauer.
Report from LLCC’s November 2013 Quality Checkup or Site Visit
LLCC’s Quality Checkup Report is now available on LLCC’s AQIP page. The Quality Checkup Report is a Higher Learning Commission (HLC) document prepared by the review team after completing a site visit. Its purpose is to document the team’s findings and communicate those findings to the HLC as well as the institution under review. The report references conversations held with various groups during its visit, reports on the accuracy of LLCC’s Systems Portfolio, comments on the how well LLCC demonstrated meeting the Criteria for Accreditation, and provides feedback regarding federal compliance expectations. Condolences to Cheryl Vertrees
Our sincere sympathy to Cheryl Vertrees, admissions office coordinator/student records evaluator, on the passing of her father, Tom Lippincott. Visitation is tonight (Tuesday) from 5-7 p.m. atHull United Methodist Church in Hull. The funeral is Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the church, with burial in Kinderhook Cemetery in Kinderhook.
