Yummy treats from the Chemistry Club today 9-2
The Chemistry Club is holding a bake sale today, March 17 from 9 AM to 2 PM in A. Lincoln Commons. All proceeds will be donated to the “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes” event, which benefits the Prairie Center Against Sexual Assault.

SGC February meeting minutes posted
The Shared Governance Council recently held a meeting February 24. The council discussed a recommendation put forth by the Professional Development Team and updates to the SGC Bylaws. Reminder: ITS upgrading email system
ITS will be upgrading the college’s Exchange email system over spring break. The change should be transparent for users who are accessing email through Outlook or a mobile device. When accessing email through the web-based client, users will be presented with the same contemporary user interface that is currently provided to our students using office 365. We will be sending out more information once the upgrade is complete.

Bill Bade pens essay for SJ-R
Bill Bade, dean of math and sciences, wrote this essay for the SJ-R March 2 on how starting at a community college and investing the savings could build a substantial nest egg for today’s youth.
