Wish Sue Hamilton well in her retirement!
Congratulations to Sue Hamilton, adjunct music instructor, on her retirement. Sue has taught class piano, choir with additional private applied vocal lessons since 1979. With this in mind, the Arts and Humanities office will be hosting a card shower for Sue Hamilton. The Arts and Humanities Department will collect cards until September 2.

Blackboard Mobile Support Center in Commons this week
The newly renamed Academic Innovation and eLearning (formerly Instructional Technology and Distance Education) will hold a mobile Blackboard Support Center in the Commons the first week of school and at midterm. Staff will be available for students and some faculty questions. Please encourage students to stop by if they have any questions about Blackboard or online learning.

College to no longer provide ink cartridges for inkjet printers
Due to budgetary constraints and in order to operate more efficiently, the college will no longer provide ink cartridges for inkjet printers effective 8-22-2016. Inkjet printers will remain in place, and employees will have the option of providing their own ink cartridges if they choose to use them. If the inkjet printer breaks, they will not be replaced, but faculty and staff can bring their own printer with pre-approval from IT. Employees are encouraged to print to the closest multi-function printer (MFP) or send large print jobs to the Duplication Center. There will be a few exceptions for users who have no access to an MFP.
Shepherd Road west lane closed north of campus
The west lane of Shepherd Road north of campus is currently closed due to a water main break earlier this week. It should reopen sometime next week. Toronto Road into campus and Shepherd Road south of the main entrance are not affected and are open.
The Child Development Center can be reached by taking Toronto Road and turning left at the stoplight on Shepherd.
Minor updates made to the Vehicle Request Form
The Finance Department has made some minor adjustments to the Vehicle Request Form. When opening the Vehicle Request Form, you should see a yellow box on the top, with a button to “Update and Save.” You must click this before proceeding or the form will not go to the appropriate staff for approval.
