Marnie Record, workforce specialist, was interviewed by the State Journal-Register for the article, “Teens get business experience running food stand.” She is also the author of this week’s Epicuriosity 101 column in the State Journal-Register, “Cooking with Herbs 101.”

Matthew Shaver, professor of digital media, was interviewed by the Springfield Business Journal for an article in the August edition, which is focused on technology. Matthew discussed the video game design program along with other digital media, art and music programs that contribute to construction of a video game.

Jessica Ingold, LLCC youth enrichment services coordinator, was interviewed by WICS July 12 and WCIA July 13 about current College for Kids programming.

Saleana Moore, LLCC student trustee, was interviewed by the State Journal-Register July 12 for a story about her role on the board of trustees.

Sue Hamilton, retired LLCC music instructor, is quoted in the State Journal-Register’s article about the Road Scholar program, “Traveling choral enthusiasts to perform in Springfield.” A highlight of the program is a concert, which will be held on Thursday, July 13, 7 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 2477 W. Washington St., Springfield. The concert is free and open to the public.

Jolene Adams, coordinator, LLCC Culinary Institute, is the author of this week’s Epicuriosity 101 column in the State Journal-Register, “Kids in the kitchen.”

Sean Keeley, culinary specialist, is featured in the current edition of Sweet Spot Living magazine in an article titled, “Six questions for Chef Sean Keeley.”

Jay Kitterman, consultant, Culinary Institute, was quoted in the July 9 edition of the State Journal-Register in an article regarding the closure of Driftwood restaurant in downtown Springfield.

Paula Luebbert, assistant vice president, corporate/government training and economic development, is the author of “Short-term training leads to new career paths” in the State Journal-Register July 1.

Dr. John Vinzant, professor of political science, was a guest essayist on the Constituting America blog with “Cherokee Nation v. Georgia (1831) And Worcester v. Georgia (1832).”
