LLCC’s second cardboard boat regatta, sponsored by the LLCC Police Department, was held earlier this fall semester at Lake Macoupin. The event raised $240 for charity. The funds have been donated to Wooden It Be Lovely, a non-profit designed to give women in need unique and empowering employment and job training, enriching relationships and housing.
