Today, we’ll focus on how United Way of Central Illinois focuses on health.
Last year, United Way of Central Illinois helped 400 seniors access health care through medical transportation with grant partners:
- Lutheran Child and Family Services
- Senior Services of Central Illinois
- SIU Center for Family Medicine
- Springfield Public Schools
- Springfield Urban League, Inc.
- Also, United Way partners with SingleCare and has helped over 39,000 people in our community save more than $3.4 million in prescription drug costs.
