LLCC is hosting the annual regional Academic Challenge, a test-based competition, this morning in Cass Gym. Students from 13 area high schools in the LLCC district are participating in the regional level competition. Subjects tested are biology, chemistry, computer science, engineering graphics, English, mathematics and physics.

The academic challenge, hosted by more than 40 community colleges and universities in Illinois and Missouri, is sponsored by the physics department and engineering program at Eastern Illinois University.
