New IT Helpdesk portal launching July 1

The IT department is excited to announce that they will be migrating to a new helpdesk portal on July 1, 2022. This platform, Freshservice, will enable the IT department to more efficiently process your requests, projects and incidents.

This means that not only will you be able to continue to submit tickets via phone, email or walkup, but you will now be able to use a comprehensive portal to find solutions to common issues, request quotes/items/service or report an incident. Self-help resources will also be available on the new IT portal, including a basic chatbot, searchable knowledge base, request catalog and more.

Anyone who has an open ticket with the IT department after this cutover may see notifications of your ticket being created in this new system.

This portal will be accessible at it.llcc.edu

The impact of this cutover should be minimal.  However, if you have issues submitting a request after July 1, please contact 217-786-2555.

All other KBOX queues (Facilities, Police, PRM, Print Shop, etc.) will not be changing.
