Many congratulations to the first graduating class of LLCC’s diagnostic medical sonography program! A DMS pinning celebration was held last Thursday. The ceremony included a welcome message from Dr. Cynthia Maskey, dean of health professions, and a keynote address from Dr. Ron Hidalgo, DMS medical director, Springfield Clinic. In addition to their overall achievements, the graduates were recognized for their mentoring skills. Alli Richards received the Outstanding Sonography Student Award. The DMS junior class hosted refreshments following the event, and the graduates enjoyed a surprise visit from LLCC’s mascot. Thanks for celebrating with us, Linc!
