LLCC students participate in “Shark Tank” project

Introduction to Business students participated in the “Shark Tank” project last week. Local business leaders critiqued students’ pitches for creative new products and offered real-world advice on their business proposals. Proposed products included a sensory bracelet called “Twiddle Fiddles” as well as baseball/softball cleats and shoes called “Switches.”

Members of the panel and sharks were Mike Murphy, president and CEO, The Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce; Drew Kinney, assistant team lead/realtor, Kathy Garst Sales Team – The Real Estate Group; Todd Weir, assistant vice president, lending, INB, N.A.; and Brian and Adrienne Murphy, president and secretary/treasurer with Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home.
