LLCC Computer Science hosted a coding event for local Girl Scout troops on Saturday. Twenty-eight girl scouts participated the morning session and 17 girl scouts in the afternoon session. All attendees completed the three “Coding for Good” badges: Computer Coding, App Design and Game Design. Fun activities  taught the girls programming constructs like sequencing, branching, sorting and looping. They also learned about storyboarding, character building, goal seeking and GUI design.
