LLCC will host another COVID-19 vaccination clinic in A. Lincoln Commons Monday, Nov. 15 and Tuesday, Nov. 16. The clinic Monday will operate from 8:30 a.m. to noon and 4–6:30 p.m. On Nov. 16, the clinic will operate from 8:30 a.m. to noon. For this clinic, they plan to have the Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines available. If you received your first dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine held at our last vaccination clinic (Oct. 18 and 19), you can get your second dose to become fully vaccinated at this upcoming vaccination clinic. No appointment is necessary to participate in this vaccination clinic; walk-ins are welcome.
Also, given your status as working in education, if you are fully vaccinated and received the Pfizer vaccine, the booster shot is also available at these clinics. To be eligible for the vaccination booster, the following qualifications must be met: You must be at least 18 years old; the booster shot must be administered at least six months after the last dose of the primary series (this is the 2nd dose of the Pfizer vaccine). The booster shot is only for individuals who have received the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for their primary series.
Please note that this clinic cannot provide the vaccination to children in the 5-11 year age group. As a reminder, LLCC has extended the COVID-19 vaccination incentive for both employees and students through Nov. 30, 2021.
