Wilma Wofford, LLCC art student, was recently selected as the winner of AARP’s Illinois Disrupt Disparities Art Contest. She credits her LLCC art professors. The article from the AARP website states: “Wofford didn’t start making art until after she retired and enrolled in art courses at Lincoln Land Community College, and she says she owes her success to her talented instructors. ‘I got started a bit late, so now I just want to make all the art I can make while I’m on this Earth.'”
