The Illinois Community College Board (ICCB) collaborated with the Northern Illinois University (NIU) Center for Governmental Studies (CGS) to complete an in-depth study of how Illinois community colleges meet the needs of local business and industry. The reports include (a) a student-level analysis highlighting the return on investment from community college certificates and degrees and (b) the economic impact of community colleges as engines and employment hubs in their host communities.
