Live United! It’s time for the LLCC United Way Campaign, where we pool our gifts to help many social service agencies in our community that help those in need. So many individuals are assisted by organizations such as Contact Ministries, Helping Hands, Sojourn Shelter, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Boys and Girls Club, Compass for Kids and Urban League. Your gift can be designated to these and other charitable organizations, or to the Community Fund which supports many agencies. Payroll deduction and outright gifts are accepted. Each year, United Way of Central Illinois invests millions of dollars in local services working to meet the needs of our community. The focus is on protecting services vital to the immediate Basic Needs of the most vulnerable members of our community; while making long-term investments in Education, Financial Stability and Health, because these are the building blocks for a good quality of life.
