LLCC’s adult education program is hosting August registration events in Litchfield, Hillsboro and Taylorville to assist students in signing up for free GED prep classes.
A registration event will be held at:
- LLCC-Litchfield, 1 Lincoln Land Drive, on Aug. 10, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Montgomery County Farm Bureau, 102 N. Main Street, Hillsboro, on Aug. 11, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- LLCC-Taylorville, 800 S. Spresser, on Aug. 12, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
GED prep classes are offered in the morning in Hillsboro, and evening classes are available in Litchfield and Taylorville. The classes help prepare students for the GED high school equivalency test and for entering the workforce.
To qualify for the classes, students must be at least 16 years old and no longer enrolled in school.
