This year’s annual FSI: At the Intersection of Teaching, Learning, and Technology Conference, “Rebooting Students’ Experiences,” will be held Wednesday, May 19. The event will once again be held virtually through Zoom. There will be presentations, networking and hands-on training on the use of modern communication and information technologies in education. Registrants may choose to focus on one track or participate in any session in any track: Post-Pandemic Strategies, Inclusive Teaching, Care and Community, and Teaching Tools. More information is available at http://conferences.illinois.edu/fsi/program.html.
The conference brings educators and instructional-technology professionals together from across Illinois and as far away as Canada. This year’s conference features a presentation, “Ch-Ch-Changes: Innovation, Flipping, Empathy and Community,” from LLCC’s very own Laurie Lewis-Fritz, instructor of music.
