Gaye Catlin, administrative assistant to the dean of health professions, was seriously injured in a fall at her home on Dec. 5, 2019. She was treated for traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries in the Intensive Care Unit of HSHS St. John’s Hospital and transferred to RMS Specialty Hospital in Chicago on Jan. 9. A Facebook page, “Caring for the Catlins,” has regular updates on her progress from her daughter, Kalie, and husband, Scott, along with information on an upcoming fundraiser March 7, 4-10 p.m. at the Stonington American Legion. We send Gaye and her family our best wishes in her recovery.
