Dr. Chris McDonald, professor of political science, was interviewed for an upcoming Illinois Gatehouse Media story on his experiences teaching about the events of Sept. 11, 2001 to students who have no memory or faint memories of 9/11. Jordan Bruder, LLCC student, was also interviewed on how she grew up with and learned about the events of that day.

Tiffany Fenner, 2019 Outstanding Graduate, LLCC, wrote the essay “The young millennial’s enigmatic pursuit of higher education: When education and life collide,” which was published in the State Journal-Register’s “Connections” page on Sunday, Sept. 1.
