In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, all staff and faculty members are encouraged to join the SAVE Taskforce in taking a stand against intimate partner violence — literally! Symbolic of our refusal to be passive bystanders of intimate partner violence in our community, we will have at least one person “taking a stand” in A. Lincoln Commons from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 16. Using materials provided, participants are also encouraged to use this platform to engage willing passersby in healthy, constructive conversations about domestic and intimate partner violence, encouraging our campus community to “See the Signs, Say Something.”
