The public is invited to tour the new Levi, Ray and Shoup Aviation Center at Lincoln Land Community College, located at Springfield’s Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport, today, Oct. 25, from 4-5 p.m. A ribbon cutting is planned for 5:30 p.m.
LLCC aviation instructors and students will be on hand to guide visitors through the facility, made possible through a generous gift from Dick Levi, CEO of Levi, Ray and Shoup, Inc. The facility was constructed adjacent to the existing LLCC aviation center and provides expanded classroom and hands-on training spaces for LLCC’s aviation mechanics program.
