As a special preview for faculty, staff and students, the 50th anniversary exhibit “FORWARD: An Anniversary Exhibit” is now open in the James S. Murray Gallery, which is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
The exhibit is part of the Founders’ Day Celebration Feb. 18 and will be open to guests on that day.
The exhibit was organized by David Laubersheimer, retired dean of Arts and Humanities; Jan Nobbe, retired assistant to the vice president, Academic Services; and Glenda Thomas, retired assistant to the dean, Arts and Humanities. They worked countless hours for more than a year to diligently plan, find, categorize, organize and preserve the treasures on display. They were assisted by Leslie Stalter and Thom Whalen, professors of art; Sandy Bonn, library monograph specialist, Carl Jones, retired instructional media specialist and Dan Stainfield, LLCC student. A sincere thank-you to all involved!
