Group invited to perform in Cuba in December

LLCC’s Recital Series continues Sunday, Nov. 20, with a performance by the Millikin University Latin Jazz Project. The recital begins at 4 p.m. in the Trutter Center.

Director Brian Justison, professor of percussion at Millikin University in Decatur, has announced that the Millikin University Latin Jazz Project has been invited to perform at the Festival Internacional Jazz Plaza in Havana, Cuba, Dec. 16-18. Millikin Chamber Percussion Ensembles have been widely acclaimed for their performances of concert repertoire for percussion instruments.. 

All LLCC Recital Series performances are free and open to the public.
