The Jacksonville Journal-Courier ran this photo (left) Nov. 8 taken Monday of LLCC-Jacksonville sophomore Brock Reid stacking canned goods. The college is accepting non-perishable food items to be donated to the Jacksonville Area Community Food Center. The college also is a Toys for Tots drop-off center until Dec. 1 and, beginning at 10:30 a.m. today, a chili and hot dog sale will benefit United Way. Maryjane Million, enrollment operations coordinator, was interviewed regarding the efforts, all parts of the 50 Acts of Service associated with LLCC’s 50th anniversary.
