Governor Bruce Rauner and First Lady Diana Rauner (top photo) visited the LLCC Child Development Center yesterday for a tour led by Center director Laurie Rhodes. Mrs. Rauner is executive director of Ounce of Prevention Fund and a longtime advocate for early childhood education and child development. The Rauners praised the Center, which is accredited through the National Association for the Education of Young Children and recognized as a Gold Level Program through ExeleRate Illinois, and posed with Laurie, the LLCC Board of Trustees and President after speaking to the media.
