The LLCC Radiography Program class of 2016 recently attended the Illinois State Society of Radiologic Technologists (ISSSRT) Annual Conference in Peoria, IL. This was the 81st conference in the history of the ISSRT and is an important event for the radiography students. While at the 2 ½ day conference they were educated via various formats including; nationally known guest speakers and experts in their fields, an 11 team scholar bowl competition, and students submissions of papers and electronic posters. Congratulations to Courtney Gingrey, who won second place for her electronic poster illustrating “Glioblastoma Multiforme.”
