The Workforce Institute Career Fair was also held on Thursday with 62 employers and featured students in welding, HVACR, construction, truck driver training, electrical distribution linemen, automotive technology, diesel technologies, commercial electrical maintenance and industrial technology. The Info Tech Expo was held Friday and provided the opportunity for 16 employers to showcase advancements in technology and computer science and to connect students with careers in the IT industry.
There are several exciting upcoming opportunities for LLCC students to connect with local employers and learn more about part- and full-time jobs and internships. Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate National Career Development Month in November. We are very thankful for all of the volunteers, LLCC Facilities and PRM for making our events and initiatives successful. A special thank you to the Student Government Association for helping students sign up for Handshake during National Career Development Week activities. We had great participation with the My Story posters at all of our locations, and we clearly have an incredibly diverse and talented group at LLCC. We look forward to celebrating again next year in November.
