It’s hard to know where to begin, so I will start from the bottom of my heart. A sincere thank you to everybody for their expressions of sympathy to me and my family over the death of my brother, Jerry Melton. It was a very difficult situation for his immediate family, mother, siblings, friends, colleagues, and students. Whether you sent a card or email, stopped me in the hallway to say a kind word, attended the memorial service, sent a flower, plant, or remembrance, or offered up a quiet thought or prayer … I want you all to know how much your thoughtfulness is appreciated. Our sympathy to Dr. Eileen Tepatti
Gerald “Jerry” Melton, former adjunct instructor at LLCC and brother of Dr. Eileen Tepatti, vice president, Academic Services, passed away Sept. 13. A memorial service will be held Sept. 21, 11 a.m. at the Church of St. Jude in Rochester. Ellinger-Kunz and Park Funeral Home in Springfield is in charge of arrangements.
