Look for the Student Life cart roaming around campus (or stop by the office) — 1,000 Paper Cranes Project – Join together to create paper cranes to send hope to someone in a health care crisis.
Also, ongoing from through Sept. 8, there is Back to School Bingo. Students can complete tasks/challenges to mark off spots on a bingo card and potentially win a prize! A new card will launch each week, and students can participate from anywhere. Cards are posted on the Lincoln Landing app.

11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in A. Lincoln Commons — Simple Hacks for College Life — Learn a few TikTok tips for making college life easier and maybe try a dance while you’re there!

Every two seconds an American needs blood, and ImpactLife works to meet that need locally. On Sept. 13, they will be in A. Lincoln Commons from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to make donating even more convenient. Appointments are required, and you can sign up now online. Donors may select a gift card or bonus points to shop in the ImpactLife store.
What a generous community! LLCC Student Life would like to share our appreciation to everyone who donated to the food pantry at Convocation or dropped off items in the office. The shelves are stocked with the hundreds of items received and there is no doubt that students will greatly benefit. Thank you to everyone who supports the pantry by talking about it with students as well!

Do you need a student employee to assist with various tasks in your office? LLCC offers on-campus jobs to students enrolled in at least six credits hours each semester. On-campus jobs are a great resource for students to advance their academic and professional goals.
To promote various on-campus jobs, LLCC Student Life in conjunction with LLCC Financial Aid will be hosting a Job Information Fair on Wednesday, Aug. 30 from 10:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. for LLCC offices to promote their on-campus jobs to LLCC students.

Tuesday, Aug. 29, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Student Union — Supersized Fun — All the favorites … just a little extra of them! Funnel cakes and jumbo games.
Wednesday, Aug. 30, 10:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. in A. Lincoln Commons — Job Information Fair — Learn about student employment options while snacking on a walking taco.
Thursday, Aug. 31, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. — Scouting for Fun — Bring the outside in with fancy s’mores and a miniature boat building challenge.
Week 3
Tuesday, Sept. 5, 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the Robert H. Stephens Room — Finding Your True Colors — Gather with other Loggers for a lunch conversation centered on personality and how learning about ourselves can be of help in many areas. Lunch provided to students! Space is limited.
Wednesday, Sept. 6, 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in A. Lincoln Commons — Spirit Day and Club Info Day — Visit with student clubs to learn about ways to get involved, and join in an exchange of LLCC branded items!
Thursday, Sept. 7, 4-5 p.m. (arrival) at Knight’s Action Park — Field Trip — Take some time to unwind after a busy few weeks! Student Life will be at the register ready to treat students (and their plus-ones) to mini golf or a couple of other activities.
Convocation for faculty and staff takes place today, Aug. 18. PresidentCharlotte Warren will provide remarks at 1 p.m. in Cass Gym, and a social will be held from 4-6 p.m. in the Hamilton area with games, food, beverages and music.
