Jason Waddell, associate professor, music, was interviewed by WTIM radio in Taylorville regarding the new audio production certificate being offered at LLCC.

The certificate is targeted to students interested in designing and implementing audio production in the home studio environment, as well as live sound applications of audio production in the professional world. Students will learn the basics of music theory, aural listening and keyboard skills, and the equipment and techniques needed to produce high quality audio recordings for various media.  Learn more.

An article in the U.S Department of Education IFLE March newsletter featured the LLCC Arts and Humanities partnership with the Center for East Asian and Pacific Studies at University of Illinois for the “Cultural Values in the Eastern World” film and lecture series.  Ashley Green, assistant professor of English, Paul Van Heuklom, professor of English, Dean Tim Humphrey and student Brandon Lewis all appeared in the article.
