The LLCC Big Band, directed by Jane Hartman, and the Stolen Moments jazz ensemble, under the direction of music instructor Jason Waddell, will perform Christmas and holiday favorites at the White Oaks Mall food court tonight, Monday, Dec. 16, from 6-8:30 p.m.

Brrrr! The weather outside is frightful, staying warm is so delightful, and since we have many places to go…. Faculty and staff who are LLCC alums are warmly invited to stop by the Foundation Office and pick up a fleece scarf this week (while supplies last). Remember, the Alumni Association’s definition of an alum is anyone who has completed a minimum of three credit hours at LLCC. Stop in and visit and pick up your scarf!
Volunteers are needed to greet and assist students during the first week of spring semester classes beginning Jan. 13. Various morning and some evening shifts are available. The Fitness Center will be closed Dec. 23 – Jan. 3, reopening Jan. 6 with special hours from 8am – 4pm through Jan. 10.

Our sincere sympathy to Peggy Goetsch, professor of biology, on the passing of her father, David H. Phipps, Dec. 8. Visitation will be held Sunday, Dec. 22 from 2-4 p.m. at St. John United Church of Christ in Lincoln, followed by a short memorial service.
