LLCC goes smoke-free July 1; resources available to help smokers

Pursuant to the Smoke-Free Campus Act (Public Act 098-0985), as of July 1, 2015:Print

• Smoking will be prohibited on all college-owned and operated property
• Smoking will be allowed only in personal vehicles parked on or travelling through campus
• $25 fine for first offense; $50 for second offense
• Commit to quit! LLCC’s Human Resources and Student Life offices have helpful information to assist smokers, in cooperation with the Illinois Department of Public Health and American Lung Association.
