The Student Life Office invites the public to the annual “Battle of the Bands” competition Friday, April 25. Door open at 5:30 p.m. and bands will perform from 6-10 p.m. in the Trutter Center on the Springfield campus.

Bands include The Blind Social, Built in a Day, Dog of Panic, Full Chroma, Geoff Leathers, Negative 17, Open D and Trepidus.

The event is co-sponsored by the LLCC Student United Way. There is no admission charge; however, donations will be accepted for United Way of Central Illinois. Door prizes include a karaoke video machine, and commemorative T-shirts will be available.
