A panel of judges from the Springfield Area Arts Council completed their review yesterday of LLCC’s “On My Own Time” art exhibit, and four first place ribbons were awarded! Several other awards were also handed out as well. So take a moment to visit the Trutter Center, take in the full display and cast your vote for the LLCC People’s Choice recipient.
The exhibit features 28 works of art created by LLCC faculty and staff and is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. People’s Choice voting continues through the end of October, with the winner receiving a $50 Visa gift card courtesy of the Trutter Museum.

Each individual may enter up to three works of art created since 2016 for $5 per entry fee. The actual artwork is due by Monday, Sept. 23.
