LLCC Choir spring concert Friday

The LLCC Choir will perform its spring 2023 concert, “hUmaNITY,” on Friday, April 28, at 1 and 7 p.m. in A. Lincoln Commons.

LLCC Music will be holding its Intermediate Recital today at 4 p.m. and the Honors Recital at 7 p.m. in Menard Hall, Room 2250. The Intermediate Recital features selections on piano, saxophone and guitar, and the Honors Recital features vocalists and selections on guitar, trombone, piano, percussion, saxophone, bass guitar and organ.

Recitals tomorrow

LLCC Music will be holding its Intermediate Recital tomorrow at 4 p.m. and the Honors Recital at 7 p.m. in Menard Hall, Room 2250. The recital will feature music through the ages including renaissance, baroque, classical, romantic and contemporary. The ensemble includes Jason Waddell, LLCC professor of music, on bass and vocals; Manley Mallard, LLCC adjunct guitar instructor on guitar; and Lyn Sly Mallard on piano.

LLCC Band fall concert today, 7 p.m.

The LLCC Band invites the public to its fall concert Monday, Dec. 5, at 7 p.m. in A. Lincoln Commons. Selections will range from standards to modern arrangements. The band is directed by Jason Waddell, professor of music. Soloists include Jaden Rilying, Tanner Stephens, Olive Strassner, Colin Deford, Clay Higginson, Jonah Pollock, Daniel Wingert and Hayden Stroup-Huffhine. Come out and support our students and their hard work!
