We are saddened to learn of the passing of Eldon Hoyt Greenwood. He was the last surviving member of LLCC’s founding Board of Trustees, having been elected to the position in 1967. He was involved in hiring the college’s first president and developing what you know as our permanent campus. Mr. Greenwood was a wonderful friend of the college and continued to support LLCC by attending events, visiting campus and sharing his time and talents. We extend our deepest condolences to family and friends of Mr. Greenwood.
Visitation is Sunday, Jan. 21, 2-5 p.m. at Butler Funeral Home, 8855 State Route 4, Chatham. Funeral services are Monday, Jan. 22 at 10 a.m. at Butler Funeral Home with burial at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to LLCC Foundation.
