Career Development Services says thanks

Career Development Services would like to thank everyone for another fun and profitable Silent Auction! We netted over $250 this year for the Career Development Emergency Fund. This money comes at a time when we really start to hear from needy students. Thank you for shopping at the auction and for donating items to make the event possible. And, thank you to Linda Cunningham and Tammy Chrisler for helping us with setting up and staffing the auction!

CDS accepting donations for Annual Silent Auction

Fall is here and that means it is time to start thinking SILENT AUCTION!  Our auction this year will be on Tuesday, October 28 from 10:00 a.m. – 2 p.m.   Our auction this year is limited to just one day so be sure to come up to the Stephens Room that day before 2:00 to place your bid.  All proceeds go to the Career Development Services Emergency Fund which directly helps our students who may run into a situation during the semester that would otherwise keep them from succeeding in their classes.  In past years we have helped with meals, books, school supplies, warm clothing, car repairs, health tests required for some of our programs and even laptops from Computer Banc.  As always, we cannot do this event without your generous donations so bring in anything you have never used, have no use for or are just plain tired of using!  Bring your donations to Career Development Services anytime.  See you on the 28th!

A note from Career Development Services

Career Development Services would like to extend a huge thank you to the Writing Center for their generous donation to the students in our SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition and Assistance Program) class.  For the third year in a row the center has donated school supplies, toiletries, gift bags and gift cards to these students.  Your generosity is very appreciated!
