April 18-24, 2016 – As part of Earth Week at LLCC, employees planted approximately 260 native wildflowers on Thursday, April 21 within a native prairie restoration area.

Jason Waddell, associate professor, music, was interviewed by WTIM radio in Taylorville regarding the new audio production certificate being offered at LLCC.

The certificate is targeted to students interested in designing and implementing audio production in the home studio environment, as well as live sound applications of audio production in the professional world. Students will learn the basics of music theory, aural listening and keyboard skills, and the equipment and techniques needed to produce high quality audio recordings for various media.  Learn more.
