Jay Kitterman, consultant, LLCC Culinary Institute, wrote the March 13 Epicuriosity 101 column in the State Journal-Register entitled, “New Disney dining (and other) experiences.”

Nancy Sweet, director of LLCC culinary programs and operations, wrote today’s Epicuriosity 101 column in the State Journal-Register entitled, “Homemade pizza is the best!”

Ryan Roberts, professor/librarian, is featured in the March 4 State Journal-Register “Someone to Know” column titled: “Ryan Roberts, bibliographer of well-known authors”. Reporter Tamara Browning writes that Ryan’s “passion for providing people access to information about well-known authors has given him a global platform.”

Dee Krueger, director, LLCC-Taylorville, was interviewed on the WTIM Morning Talk Show yesterday. She discussed the advantages of taking summer classes, the summer class schedule and student life events at LLCC-Taylorville.

African-American Food and Vendor Day, the culminating event in this year’s African-American History Month activities at LLCC, was covered by WICS and FOX Illinois. Laurie Clemons, academic advisor, was interviewed for the story.

LLCC’s electrical distribution lineman program, a partnership between LLCC and the Association of Illinois Electric Cooperatives (AIEC), is featured in the story “Partnership empowers future lineworkers” in Illinois Country Living, a monthly publication of AIEC. Julie Rourke, director of workforce development, was interviewed for the story.

Ryan Roberts, faculty librarian, was interviewed and photographed Feb. 26 for next Monday’s “Someone to Know” column in the State Journal-Register. He discussed his recent sabbatical project involving researching and creating the Julian Barnes Bibliography Online (http://bibliography.julianbarnes.com) and his work creating and maintaining websites for Barnes and other British authors.
